PAC505 and The Trillion Space are fired up to present the second installment of their debate-viewing series, this Tuesday, October 7. Join us at The Trillion Space (510 2nd Street, near Marquette) for “Test Press Tuesday,” where the debate will be projected, heard, and properly contextualized by an army of DJ’s and artists, including Adam5100 from the East Bay. During the event, which begins at 4 o’clock, local artists will create original Obama designs and screenprint them onto shirts you bring for five bucks.

As noted below, PAC505 has illegally obtained access to the electronic diary of an undecided voter. Here is what he wrote about the Biden-Palin debate. Is he crazy? Is he stupid? Evil? Or is he right on the money?
I was waiting to see if Palin would fall flat on her face, but she held her own. Admittedly, the bar was preemptively set very low, but there were a couple of things she mentioned that i found myself agreeing with, including:
- the republican plan to offer a $5,000 tax credit for taxpayers to have a choice on their insurance plans. this would provide taxpayers the flexibility to cross state lines and have choice on insurance plans, which gives them affordability and accessibility.
- opposition to the idea of socialized medicine. if you want to look into the future to see the outcome of socialized medicine all you have to do is look north to our 51st state (Canada) as an example of socialized medicine gone wrong.
- education reform. our public school system is an utter failure and we need drastic fundamental reform in education.

An individual associated with PAC505 has committed to give one dollar to Obama for every person who comments to this post (up to $600), with his or her answer to the following question: if you had the power to guarantee Obama a victory in November, what would be the one promise you would ask from him in return?

The $700 billion dollar “bailout” is necessary to avoid imminent economic catastrophe by maintaining the illusion that unregulated credit expansion is sustainable. Failure to implement a bailout would further reveal the depth of the vulnerability of our economic and financial systems.
The bailout is an economic and political patch. The likelihood of additional domestic and foreign government intervention is high. In other words, $700 billion may be a relatively small amount of money when viewed in larger process of the collapse of the United States’ financial system.
One of the loudest counter-proposals to the bailout involves giving money to U.S. taxpayers/mortgage holders instead of to Wall Street. Unfortunately that solution does not respond to the problem, which is a core endangerment to entity-to-entity lending, especially among banks (i.e. commercial paper markets). Further curtailment in lending markets over the next couple of weeks would likely lead to even more extreme market reactions including additional domestic and international stock market crashes, similar to what was experienced on Black Tuesday in October 1987. The bailout is intended to prevent a complete seizure, albeit temporary, of entity-to-entity lending and related economic consequences.
It is essentially a spiritual or conceptual question. How does one handle inevitable demise, diminution and general degradation? It is painful no matter what small measures are taken to delay it. Cycles are cyclical. Magnitude and time are variable. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

After a series of cell phone triangulations and hacks, PAC505 has illegally obtained access to the electronic diary of an undecided voter. We can tell you this and only this about him: he was born in Latin America, grew up in Albuquerque, and now works in the financial sector in Northern California. We will post his political entries as they become available to us.
I just watched the debate. It was incredibly frustrating to watch. Obama failed to inspire the notion that he’s prepared to lead. My biggest concern is that under Obama, the US budget will continue to run higher deficits because of an unwillingness to curb spending.
My take away is that neither candidate inspired me.

The folks responsible for this ad know what they are doing and perhaps best exemplify the slogan “if you can’t beat the media, be the media.” This sort of thinking and organization is what has been missing in failed elections past (probably in part because the technology/accessibility wasn’t quite there), and if we win it will in large part because of it. My next donation will be to these guys, and I earnestly suggest that you at least take a look, if you haven’t already, and consider giving them a boost.
